Accountability: Holding Yourself and Others Accountable

                Do you ever blame others for mishaps or unfortunate  circumstances when things go wrong?  Have your expectations in that relationship or on a new job been mediocre? Its time you take a look within yourself but also at the way we allow others to treat you.     I think I've always heard the word accountability used in movies or when my parents would scold me for lying about something  serious. I don't think I had ever really used the word until later in my life when there were actual situations that accounted for the word needing to be used. But what I can admit is the need of myself sometimes wanting to place the blame on others when things don't work out just the way I need them to. Communicating: Effectively

          I know communication can be a very broad topic but it is essential for everyday life. Wether you are wanting to order something from a restaurant, talking to a friend on the phone, or even as I am typing right now, I am communicating. Communication is key to everyday life, but are we  effectively communicating?     Communicating has always been one of my favorite things to to engage in. I love talking to friends, people I randomly meet, or even talking to myself. I have no problem with engaging in  conversations, but what I did struggle with is communicating my emotions or my needs effectively. I always thought I needed to yell or cuss to get my point across, when in all honest just expressing your words calmly to an individual 9/10 could work.
